On December 2, 2007, the Edmonton Chinese Christian Choir has held the ˇ§Stay with Meˇ¨ City-Wide Joint Church Worship Service at the Gateway Alliance Church. Please see attached pictures for highlight of the worship event.
This event is a joint venture with the Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church, North Edmonton Alliance Church, Evangel Chinese Baptist Church and Agape Chinese Baptist Church. On such a cold snowy winter night, many brothers and sisters came join the worship service to remember Jesusˇ¦ birth and His salvation for mankind. The worship program featured Christmas music presented by the choir, and there were also reenactment of the nativity scene from 5 different perspectives by Prophet Isaiah, the Shepherd, Magi, Mary and the owner of the inn where Jesus was born.
Also, Rev. Albert Mak of the North Edmonton Alliance Church shared a message on ˇ§A Christmas unlike beforeˇ¨ to encourage people to come close to Jesus Christ as He is the source of life, He is the provider of our needs, and He is love.
The choir then presented the theme song of the program ˇ§Stay with Meˇ¨ to express Jesusˇ¦ desire to draw people to Him, He has come that we may have life, and have it to the full.
